AP Entertainment is a film company founded in 2002.

The founder and general producer is Dmitry Rudovsky, a well-known Russian film and television producer. Dmitry Rudovsky's production works include "9th Company", "Duhless", the absolute leader of the Russian film distribution, Fyodor Bondarchuk's film "Stalingrad", the large–scale fantasy blockbuster "Attraction", Pavel Lungin's thriller "The Queen of Spades", the family comedy "Good Boy".

From 2004 to 2012, he held the position of CEO of Art Pictures Studio. In 2009, he created the distribution company Art Pictures Media, which distributes APS films and independent Western studios, as well as the placement of APS content on the Internet. Recently, the activity of Art Pictures Studio has been marked by successful projects, which are also the production works of Dmitry Rudovsky.
In 2017, Fyodor Bondarchuk's blockbuster "Attraction" was released, which became the first Russian film about an alien invasion in modern history. The film entered the top ten highest-grossing Russian films, collecting more than a billion rubles at the box office, in addition, it received wide international distribution in more than 80 countries around the world and was positively received by critics.

The second joint work from the creators of "Attraction" - the film "Ice" directed by debutant Oleg Trofim - started at the box office in early 2018. The picture about a young talented figure skater and her trials on the way to her own dream immediately won the love of the audience: "Ice" showed the best result on the first day of collections for a domestic film in the history of film distribution in Russia and the CIS, and for the entire rental period confidently overcame the milestone of 1.5 billion rubles, becoming one of the box office leaders of the year.
Dmitry Rudovsky's projects have been awarded many awards: the dilogy "Duhless" and "Duhless 2" was twice awarded for the best male role at the Golden Eagle (2011) and Nika (2016) film awards. Valeria Guy Germanika's drama "Yes and Yes" (2014) won the prize for best director at the Moscow International Film Festival, as well as "Nika" for best actress performed by Agnia Kuznetsova. The picture "The Queen of Spades" by Pavel Lungin received awards of the Golden Eagle Film Award (2017), as well as the audience award at the Black Nights festival in Tallinn, the military drama "Battalion" - the grand Prix of the Fast Lion festival in South Africa, or the African Oscar. The company's projects annually take part in the competitions of the largest Russian and international film festivals.


Over the years, Dmitry Rudovsky has held various positions in the media and on television: he worked as an editor, journalist, television director, producer of the Moskovia TV channel.

Born on December 4, 1962 in Moscow. He graduated from the Spanish department of the Moscow State Pedagogical Institute of Foreign Languages named after Maurice Thorez, as well as Higher courses of screenwriters and Directors (workshop of A. Torstensen and O. Korvyakov).
